My reply:

Yes, Sis. That's the difference between Socialism and a Socialist Democracy. Just as there is a difference between actual Communism and theoretical Communism.

They all work, in theory, but then people get involved and it all goes to hell and you end up with a ruling class that doesn't give a shit about anyone but themselves.
