In reply to the discussion: Miami DUer In The News Again... 'Journalist Recovers Video Of His Arrest After Police Deleted It.' [View all]bvar22
(39,909 posts)29. Joining in this community "Beat Down" ,
...because you deserve it for this outstandingly ill informed post, and completely unfounded opinion.
You know how the crowd Boos at a football game when some fool takes off his clothes,
and runs naked around the field?
Can you hear the Boos?
From your post #14 this thread:
"They makes them (sic) troops (if dumb ones), not generals."
RagingInMiami's tireless dedication to this cause,
personal sacrifice over the years,
courage in the line of duty,
willingness to Put it ALL On the Line,
and Leadership
does INDEED make him a "General" in this most important of wars for our democracy,
though if you asked him, he would reply he is only doing his duty as a citizen and a photographer.
(I am familiar enough with his work over the years to make this claim).
OTOH, the ignorance on display in your post DOES put YOU in one of the categories you mention,
and that category is NOT the one RagingInMiami stands in.
RagingInMiami is one of the best DU has ever had among our ranks.
He Walks the Walk.
You still have time to post a retraction and a Mea Culpa,
and walk away with some of your integrity intact.
You will know them by their WORKS,
not by their excuses.
