I have no idea how to do that but he offered to help DUers make their own, which was another really kind gesture from yet another DUer.

Funny, I was always less confident about roller skates than ice skates. I got so used to the ice skating blades and using the ice to control them, (dig in when you need to lol) that when I tried roller skates I felt like I had no control over the wheels lol!

But I love watching professional roller skaters and it is awesome to me to see how they can do on roller skates what ice skaters do on the ice.

I once was watching speed skaters at the rink, and was amazed at how fast they were going. They invited me to hang on to the end of their line (they held onto each other when practicing) which I did. That was scary but fun.
