1. 100% of gay people everywhere experience "hate speech" and "verbal abuse" all the time.

It may or may not be directed *specifically* and personally at them. But they "experience" it all the time.

I experienced two separate incidences today taking a ride on a city bus in the Bronx just after the schools let out.

And something like "that's gay! That's gay!"

No. I wasn't directed at me specifically. But it was directed at me non-specifically.
