Germany and he had a 2d job at the roller skating rink on the base. That was back in the mid 50s. He use to take us and we learned that way. Gosh what fun we had as kids. We always had lots to do. In the winter we would wet the ground and you would have ice skating. I would watch. But well all went sledding. We used to hill right by the housing area and it was long. I still have my german sled. It is 54 yrs old. I keep it for my flower pot. When my husband and I went back in 1980 I brought one for my son. We still have his. Last year he was dragging his daughter on it. Really cool.
