Hillary Clinton rules out 2016 White House bid
The Oval David Jackson 1:51 p.m. EDT October 18, 2012
Are you sure Hillary Rodham Clinton is running for president in 2016?
Be careful how much you bet on it.
The secretary of State told Marie Claire magazine she won't seek the presidency again in four years.
"You know?" she said. "I am not." (The comments are at the end of the article.)
When asked "why not?" and that "everybody wants you to," Clinton responded: "I have been on this high wire of national and international politics and leadership for 20 years. It has been an absolutely extraordinary personal honor and experience. But I really want to just have my own time back. I want to just be my own person. I'm looking forward to that."

She would be 70 years old before the first year of her first term was up. The Sun is setting on the days of the Old, Rich, White Establishment, never to rise again. A new Dawn will come to light with a younger, more diverse ethnic background of intelligent, concerned people who truly want to help hold this Country together at its core as the richest, most powerful Nation in the world. The first the we need to realize is that we can't keep playing world police, and world provider.
We need to focus on our OWN COUNTRY for a while. We need to address OUR OWN people who are living, and starving, in OUR OWN STREETS. We need to address our own failed "healthcare" system and get it out of the clutches of the Insurance Industry and Big Pharma. We need to address wealth disparity. We need to end the failed "war on drugs". We need to work on Immigration Reform. We need to overturn Citizens United and take away Corporate Personhood. We need Lobbyist reform. We need Campaign Finance reform and last, but certainly not the least, we need to recognize, then try to fix, Global Climate Change.
With Polar Ice Caps melting and sea levels rising, we can keep panicking and crying "DOOMED" "DOOMED", or we can see it as a way to create jobs and rebuild our infrastructure at the same time. To combat rising sea levels, we build desalination plants along ALL of our coasts, then we start pumping fresh water into the interior states, especially the ones experiencing severe droughts. Think of the hundreds of thousands of jobs that could be created all across the Nation!
I could keep going, but sleep is calling my name...
Peace,
Ghost
