and Maddow seems to be making people like mine case. Why should liberals or Democrats defend the Press when much of the Press seems to be in bed with the Republican Party ever since Ronald Reagan attacked the Press for being Liberal. Now it seems the Press has moved too far to the right and trying to influence Policy.

Some of these younger journalists probably got their start in journalism when the Press was attacked by the Right for being too Liberal. They are not doing the Public or American people a favor by taking sides with one political agenda over another. Their jobs are to just report the news and facts,not influence it to favor any Party. That is when they go over the line and become accomplices. I think the Press has went over the line and why I don't defend them.

They have been so busy putting the spotlight on a Democratic President or Democratic Party,that they fail to see they are pushing one sides' agenda by not calling out the other Party when they lie or do other un ethical behavior. That is how we got into an illegal War. The Press is to Blame just as much for not investigating for facts, but instead accepted the Administrations' propaganda. It is quite strange some of these same journalists do the opposite during a Democratic Administration even when some of the facts thrown out by the Republicans are manufactured. When will the Press put the focus on Issa and Chaffetz abusive use of Congressional Hearings and the Republican Party by giving Issa such an important position?

If the Press is really serving the Public and the American people, why isn't this important news for the Public to know. Issa is not serving the American people but using oversight Hearings as a political tool for the Right's agenda, which is to destroy the President. That does not serve the American people at all but the Press continues to not see this as important news. They are complicit in helping the Republican Rightwing Agenda. They do not question the Rightwing Republican Party but take every scandal put out by the Republican party as facts which automatically puts the President and Democratic Party on the defensive. The American Public as usual is ahead of the Press and beginning to catch on more to the Republican Party. And their Republican Policies are killing the Republican brand because they are attacking different groups of Americans with their extreme ideology yet the Press continues to miss what maybe the biggest news of all right at their feet. That is the self destruction of what was once the proud party of Lincoln. And at the same time they are taking the Press with them because many Americans are losing faith in the Presses' credibility which should be sacred to any journalist.
