In reply to the discussion: Climate Change Denier Inhofe Says Monster Tornado 'Hard to Explain' [View all]AverageJoe90

Jimmy boy, this tornado isn't hard to explain; it's May. Tornado season. And sometimes, big tornadoes DO happen in Oklahoma.
And by the way, one thing I should point out, though, is that though yesterday's tornado DID kill more people than the '99 tornado, the truth is, in many other respects, the May 3rd tornado was actually WORSE, including in intensity. And to be honest with you, I'm a little bothered by the hyperbole that the MSM engaged in while this whole thing: no, this was NOT the worst tornado ever recorded in American history, nor even that of the state of Oklahoma. It was bad, yes. Real bad. But not the worst, period.
Really wish the lamestream media would stop using so much hyperbole every time something like this happens.....frankly, not only is it a tad insensitive to those who suffered, but it's actually giving ammo to the deniers, including people like James Inhofe, too.
