I live in a small county and our Sheriff's dept is full of cast-offs that were fired from other depts. for various reasons. But before that happens, they will sue their current dept. when and if they are fired, costing the taxpayers a fortune in legal fees.

Even the BART cop who mudered that teenager a few years ago by shooting him in the back while he was being held down by another officer only went to jail for a matter of months.

A close eye needs to be kept on this guy or he will wind up in a uniform again. It really wouldn't surprise me.

It's frightening to think about how much of this stuff went on before nearly every citizen was carrying a cell phone/camera. I fear it was business as usual and easy to cover up.
