(17,429 posts)53. No, but I've seen it happen a few times.
It would happen pretty commonly in the Army during reviews or change of command ceremonies. You get a few thousand guys standing at attention for hours and some are going to drop from locking their knees. They always had medics with stretchers at the rear of the formations for that reason. When I was in-processing into the army the guy behind me in the shots line passed out just as I was getting my shots. All I heard was "I don't feel so..." and by the time I turned around he had hit the floor.
I hope this was just an isolated incident and nothing serious for you.
