In reply to the discussion: anyone ever faint? [View all]CountAllVotes
(22,240 posts)77. Yes I have
It happened to me when I went to visit my mother who was in the hospital for a long time and near death.
I'm scared to death of hospitals and I passed out when I got there. I was about 14 years old when that happened to me and luckily it has not happened to me since.
I am now in my late 50s and not in the best of health but no, I'm not fainting nor passing out luckily.
I would definitely get checked out. It could be from a medication you are taking or it could be due to all of the horrible anxiety you are feeling from the death of your husband.
I am very sorry to read about this. I hope you get better very soon!

Yes, I just have freakishly low baseline bp, and tend to get a little squirrelly

Yes, a few times. But never for more than a few seconds. I hope you are going to be ok! *hugs*
