In reply to the discussion: anyone ever faint? [View all]Jennicut
(25,415 posts)90. Once when I was pregnant and several low blood sugar incidents.
I think I just didn't eat enough when I was pregnant with my first daughter. I passed out one morning after a shower.
I'm a diabetic but only blacked out a few times, I came to right away. I never was so unresponsive that I needed someone to call 911. I can tell now when I am low and the fainting will happen soon unless I have some kind of sugar. You feel shaky and everything darkens.

I don't donate because of allergies. I figure my blood's no good for anyone else.

Yes, I just have freakishly low baseline bp, and tend to get a little squirrelly

Yes, a few times. But never for more than a few seconds. I hope you are going to be ok! *hugs*
