In reply to the discussion: anyone ever faint? [View all]Katashi_itto
(10,175 posts)97. I was misdiagnosed, told I had arthritis in the right hip,
from a very severe car accident (had a number of issues from the accident, operations etc.), but it being arthitis, I was told was ok to do Kendo
(Japanese Fencing in armor)
One of the standard things in Kendo is your right foot makes a "stomp" as you attack.
Well, every time I attacked, the stomp would give me shooting pains from the heel of the foot to the top of my head. I would literally see spots the pain was so bad.
Making attacks was worse.
I would make my strike with my shinai (bamboo sword) and wake up on the floor.
Turns out the head of the right hip femur had an occult fracture.
Everything was just sort of grinding against each other in there.
I totally sympathize with your fainting

I don't donate because of allergies. I figure my blood's no good for anyone else.

Yes, I just have freakishly low baseline bp, and tend to get a little squirrelly

Yes, a few times. But never for more than a few seconds. I hope you are going to be ok! *hugs*
