Why is "pearl clutching" ok but "cheerleading" forbidden? [View all]

I see a lot of rah rah, sis boom bah! With their short skirts and O on the sweater...

Cheerleader/Cheerleading accusations are generally frowned upon at DU but pearl clutching accusations appear to be cool.
