frustrated cops otherwise meet frustrated citizens minding their own business and then deliver a little unnecessary violence to someone who was "resisting arrest," find a little marijuana or another drug of choice, or find a drop weapon?

If the claim is made by the NYPD or any apologists that such events never happen, that's inherently incredible.

Even when they let citizens ultimately leave without any charges being filed, how many times did the NYPD deliver unnecessary violence?
