I didn't realize permitless CCW carry was allowed in any state other than Vermont. Thanks for the information! I actually visit Arizona regularly (my folks live there...), so that's something I should be aware of.
My personal preference for CCW issuance would be to require not only the background check and classroom instruction must states require, but also a competency test at the range (and the test shouldn't be a "gimme"
.

Of course, obtaining the permit is not difficult at all. You basically fill out some paperwork.
