(13,241 posts)40. Well, if you down a package in one day, there's your problem.
But there's nothing wrong with two (three if you're older) Oreos and an 8-oz of milk as a mid-afternoon treat, interchangable with the same amount of Fig Newtons. That's how I grew up (well, whenever we had money).
Never gained weight as a kid - or as a working adult - eating that way. So a 15 oz bag isn't half bad if you keep your serving size down to two or three a day.
It's scarfing down the 2-serving 6-pack of Oreos in the gedunk machines twice a day that starts to cause weight trouble.

If you only eat it occasionally, then why complain about an extra $1.50?

Hey now, watch it bud. The "freedom" to eat toxins is nearly as cherished as the "right"

It has EVERYTHING to do with occasionally enjoying a treat, not your self-righteous indignation

More for less certainly sucks, but I do love that package with the sealable top flap.

Why the fuck do those of you who think lambasting me for eating Oreos have the right to do so?

Sort of tangential, but what really gets me is when manufacturers use or switch

I hope you're not too surprised. It is so popular here to actively ignore substance.
