(23,156 posts)66. Baking cookies, cakes, and brownies from scratch is
incredibly easy. Okay, so making a sandwich cookie like oreos would be more complicated, but still.
I live alone and I like to bake, so occasionally I'll make cookies or a cake and bring it in to work. It's genuinely embarrassing how much my co-workers love what I bring. It's obvious that they have rarely, if ever, had something made from scratch. My stuff doesn't have that chemical taste you get from mixes.
Cookies tend to freeze well, so sometimes I'll selfishly make an entire batch of chocolate chip cookies for myself and freeze them, taking out one at a time. Yummm.

If you only eat it occasionally, then why complain about an extra $1.50?

Hey now, watch it bud. The "freedom" to eat toxins is nearly as cherished as the "right"

It has EVERYTHING to do with occasionally enjoying a treat, not your self-righteous indignation

More for less certainly sucks, but I do love that package with the sealable top flap.

Why the fuck do those of you who think lambasting me for eating Oreos have the right to do so?

Sort of tangential, but what really gets me is when manufacturers use or switch

I hope you're not too surprised. It is so popular here to actively ignore substance.
