104. Maybe the headlines needed grabbing to establish some balance.

I think if you re-listen to Clare Daly's words concerning Michelle and the girls she was targeting the fawning press and choice of luncheon partner. Daly actually was pretty consistent in calling Bono a tax exile with her criticism of her country being a tax haven. And, I have to agree that the
(pandering?) "wind behind your back" remark to the Irish children is hypocritical coming from an aggressive drone advocate. In the half minute Daly was commenting on Michelle she mentioned Michelle's "home" reference. You know that all these remarks are thoughtout well in advance of the visit and it might have come across better to have said, "It's wonderful to re-visit Barack's ancestral home rather than something to the effect of "it's good to be home".

If nothing else, it's evident that all is noticed these days with instant coverage of everything. I think Daly was trying to get her countrymen to look at the visiting dignitary in relationship to policies rather than as a popular world figure. imho
