41. you're welcome. Seems like a no brainer. A police officer hired to monitor a family visit . . .

. . . in the park for an outing, apparently owing to violence in the home, has to has to be there to monitor them playing with their children. We (Moms Demand Action) were there Saturday with our ASK literature and the policeman wanted to know about why we were there. He thought that ASK sounded like good sense. We're using the words "gun sense" instead of "gun control". I wonder if it might be helpful to get the police to coordinate with MDA. It takes a lot of money to get visibility in the community. Just promoting on the Internet doesn't actually reach those who need to be reached.

Btw, only one other person approached our table. One can't go up and solicit in a public park. They had a face painter and balloons, but practically no parents. It's tough going. They need idea people I'm thinking.
