3. Interesting that we are required to find Democrats to be always as bad a Republicans

by people allegedly more liberal than we are.

Naturally Bush or a Republican will make it a lot worse. The Patriot Act was passed under Bush.

I am a Democrat and don't think Democrats would abuse the power. Republicans would, however.

Obama didn't invent it and doesn't abuse it. But a Republican would. Bush did. We are Democrats here and not required to assume Democrats are as bad as Republicans. That's left to you cynics.

I would have contempt for "him" if he did this to Bush. He'd be doing it to us, too. It's obvious he could not care less about what happens to "us" and our agents.
