For the most part I agree with you wholeheartedly. Although, meth is different from all the others. It is a truly vile drug, and doesn't addict people the way other drugs do. Having Abbot Labs making and selling it OTC will definitely cut down all the violence. But, the only health risks it will cut substantially will be the ones related to the explosive nature of current production methods. I suppose if they made it "less pure", the addictive properties would lessen. But, I'm not sure the risks of getting "meth mouth" and other effects will be reduced. I certainly don't have all the answers to this one. But, I certainly DO agree that his idiotic "war on drugs" is only making things worse.
