the modern gop (along with a few "democrats"
has demonstrated that a Jobs Bill, while strategically a great move, would be putting the cart before the horse.
When/if Democrats flip the House and gain a net 4 in the Senate, we will see a vigorous Jobs Bill, forceful climate change legislation, and a lot of the other things that liberals seek ... including congressional action on this NSA thing (though I doubt, nor does THIS Democratic liberal want, the NSA to go away).
But/And we can be pretty share that if we DO NOT flip the House and at least hold what we have in the Senate, we will get NONE of what liberals want.
But then again ... maybe failing to flip the House and hold the Senate will give what many of our newer DU folks what they seem to REALLY want; a complete loss of confidence in, and break-down of government that will "clear the way for and give rise to the glorious progressive utopia!!!!"
