When there is new technology, one needs to keep up with them (much like in baseball, the steroid abuse issue, which players
find newer stuff not "specifically" mentioned. Best to include everything and anything to be prepared

Back in the World War 2 days, and prior, they had alarm bells go off, and people went into fallout shelters, but it took
advance notice for people to enter them
Same in tornado's, where people need to get to places (depending on which state) and if there is no advance notice,
they would not be able to do so.
One bad thing about all the different TV stations now, as opposed to yesteryear, is one can be watching an old movie station
or movie, and have no idea a major event is taking place. That always worries me.
(though I was happy to see a few years ago, watching AntennaTV, a scrawl did appear to turn a news station on when Osama
Bin Ladan was caught. But many other stations don't do that).
