11. We hoped it wouldn't happen, but we knew it would

I agree with you, and will add that we got a LOT of ammo to use against repukes for the 2022 election and beyond.

I hope that we capitalize on the fact that repukes were worried more about getting re-elected than in doing what was right. They've lost all credibility when it comes to being adherents to "law and order".

I think that Speaker Pelosi laid out some excellent groundwork yesterday with her speech about how members of Congress should have options. Trying desperately to remain in Congress, at the cost of doing what's right, brings up a LOT of questions that the repukes should be forced to answer. On paper, many of these repuke members of Congress have the ability to make much more money in the private sector. So, what are they hiding?

As far as trump goes, I hope that IF he displays any aspirations to run again, or even just to be a big influence in the party, we need to keep hammering away about how he has proved he's NOT supportive of law enforcement. We should also hammer away about how loyal his MAGAts were to him, only to have him throw them under the bus.

Honestly, though, I think that by the time Leticia James and Fani Willis get done with trump. the destruction of all things trump will be complete. Wishful thinking on my part? Maybe. Time will tell.
