(13 posts)I often wonder the same thing. A nice roof over your head, a car that gets you where you need to go (or bus/train money depending!), some money in the bank for the unexpected problem that might arise. All of that makes total sense.
But billions? Multiple homes all over the place? Million dollar cars? Planes?
All while people who work for you scrape by. Honestly, I work in upper management and I see it and it sucks. I have forgone raises (I am not in six figures, everyone else at my level is) in order to get more money for those in my department. I don't get how some people I know can literally talk to some of the employees there like they care, at company parties make speeches about how we're all a big family, and then behind closed doors talk about them as worthless easily replaceable cogs.
It saps your soul it really does.
