71. I don't see where you get the idea that is what Mr. Bvar is saying. I believe he is saying that the

evidence is convincing that the surveillance state is dangerous and out of control and if not now - it can in the future become a threat to all our liberty. If someone who is wrong on almost every single issue - happens - even if for partisan motives - nonetheless still happens to recognize this danger while many more sensible people are burying their head in the sand and engaging in outrageous denial of reality - it is still a good thing to see anyone confront this reality - even if they are a horrible person doing it for all the wrong reasons. This reminds of opposition to the Vietnam War - In the early days of that struggle few people wanted to break from the most progressive President in all of American history to denounce that senseless and immoral war.. There were some who only criticized the war because they wanted to hurt Lyndon Johnson and perhaps derail the Great Society. But that did not change the fact that the war was totally wrong. Those who were more consistent in their positions of conscience spoke against that senseless war anyway. Today, reasonable people know that the Intelligence Industrial Complex is way out of control. If Democrats don't joint the battle to rein in this Frankenstein monster - others driven by less noble motives will.
