5. I know, it's true here in East TN. Hard to understand except for the "religion thing"

Very conservative, fundamentalist mentality here. They vote "anti-abortion" even though it will mean more abortions because of lack of sex education and unaffordable birth control.

They vote for those who will shift their earnings to the top 1%, provide them with only occasional part-time jobs with no benefits, reduce Food Stamps and prevent them from getting affordable health care, etc.
