Parodies are not done to offer real solutions to real problems, they are used to discredit views one does not like. As I said.

Orwell and Huxley wanted us to "feel revulsion" for totalitarian methods, those things you mention (THM, Goldsteins) are among the totalitarian methods being parodied. That is why "Manny Goldstein" leads on to the realization that the handle is a parody.
