And why does anyone care what an aged "punk rock singer" has to say about anything?

I just can't take the political musings of a guy who can talk "fascists" one minute, and "poofy hair" the next, terribly seriously. Especially one who looks like he's gone a bit heavy on the Grecian Formula!

He sounds a bit hubris-laden, whoever the hell he is. And I have to say, I'll bet those "poofy haired" bands he's insulting (never trust anyone who puts someone down in order to build themselves up--and isn't there some kind of "musician's code" where that kind of thing is bad form?)--along with the ones who wore makeup and frilly pirate shirts and leggings that showed too much of their business--are probably doing better on the residuals end than this guy is. That "top forty crap" still has a market, in commercials, as background music in period films, on "retro" radio stations, as well as golden oldie albums. That junk pays the bills, if musicians are smart enough to hold on to their own work.

I would not be surprised if his mouthiness has something to do with the steroids it looks like he's taking. Thumbs down to Mister Wonderful, whoever the hell he is.
