I'm also curious to know why, if someone rehearses for weeks a choreographed routine than has no purpose except to depict a hyper-charged indiscriminate sexuality they should in anyway feel slut-shamed. If they WANT to be a slut what is the harm in treating them like a slut? Not treating them as a slut actually defeats their intent.

Does the anarchists whose clothes, tattoos and attitude are designed to reject corporate America complain about not being seated on the Board of Directors?

And since when has it ever been OK to demand people like a certain thing? I'm pretty ambivalent about the performance itself but I'm very solidly against being told what I must and must not like in order to remain in good societal standing. It's just another form of hypocrisy akin to the moralist caught in an out-of-wedlock sexual relationship.
