I didn't see her little act until the next day, but the whole Pop Music scene these days seems to be all about pushing the envelope to see how little talent people will actually pay to see/hear.

It brings to mind a book I read a few months ago called, "The Bialy Pimps" where a bunch of workers in a bagel/bialy shop get real tired of the day to day grind and decide to start abusing the customers just to see what would happen.

The employees kept escalating the insanity, but there seemed to be nothing so abusive or nasty that would actually drive customers away. They LOVED it.

Fiction, but, perhaps with a grain of truth...

So, what with the shitty quality of Pop Music these days in general, and people like Miley Cyrus embarrassing themselves in public and laughing all the way to the bank, maybe the real assholes are the American public.
