36. I was just on a jury for an alert on your post.

It was an idiotic and dishonest alert, and 3 jurors fell for it - thankfully 3 of us did not, so your post was not hidden.

I have no idea about the poster s/he was castigating, but that is not debate; that's personal attack.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: "People's View" is the website from which this article came. This post is attacking the author of the article, not the author of the post, so it is not a personal attack.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: The alerter has a reading comprehension problem. The person cali was "castigating" is a blogger with his own website, not a poster on DU. Furthermore, I completely agree with cali's assessment of this blogger. He IS a fuckwad.
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: The post refers to the source article. It could be more diplomatic stating they don't like the source's opinions but not a personal attack on a Duer.

The alerter had no idea what your post was actually about, but didn't give a damn - he/she just wanted to hit the alert button on you.

Juror #4 clearly voted their own agenda, as opposed to examining the actual facts. Jurors #5 and #6 apparently fell for the alerter's misinformation.

I'm very disappointed that the vote was this close, but at least there were 3 of us who were able to prevent your post being hidden on false grounds.

I was juror #2, and as I said in my comment, I totally agree with your assessment of that piece of shit blogger.
