13. It's time for on-line voting

...on a secure official government department site (voting.gov). No more electronic voting machines, paper ballots, polls that are easier to get to in some districts than others, etc. Every citizen upon turning eighteen, or when becoming naturalized, would be able to sign in with their own PIN and vote during elections. An open voting period of say... one month prior to the election day cut-off would apply to everyone and eliminate mail-in ballots because any place in the world that has Wifi would allow a traveler or service-member to vote in time. For many, we could vote from home, but senior centers could provide computer access and assistance--as could churches, schools, libraries, etc. We could have volunteers get out and help disabled people get set up. Each person, upon voting once, would get a confirmation and could either record the number or print out the page for back-up/proof.
