it was that nasty rock 'n' roll sung by degenerates like Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis.

And dungarees. Oh, and white t shirts with the sleeves rolled up, and duck's ass hair styles. Then those long-haired hippie Beatles came along, and it was truly the end of the world.

In my day, it was heavy metal -- Don't Fear (the Reaper) was supposed to cause all the teenagers to commit suicide just by being in the same vicinity of anywhere it was played. Maybe it was only if you played it backwards. I forget.

My second son says I shouldn't hate all rap music, because a lot of it says the same things I say, about thinking, freedom, and so on. I guess. I just don't get into it. Like jazz, blues, swing, classic rock, beach music much better.
