bombing Assad is NOT a pacifist. You are not alone in questioning that description.

My LW opposition to bombing Assad was not based on hatred of President Obama - not at all - but on hatred of anything that deliberately kills other people, including weapons other than chemical weapons. In addition to lack of clear evidence of attribution as to which side used CWs rather than the inferential evidence presented, I failed to see how bombing Syria, however "targeted" - and potentially killing additional innocent people in the process - would "show" any bad person who kills people that killing people is wrong. It would also, IMO, have cemented America's growing reputation for bullying simply because we have the military muscle to do so.

If my opposition to bombing Assad for those reasons makes some believe that I am anti-Prez Obama, I can't help their wrong conclusions. But I do question their logic.
