10. Clinton and Obama as nominee's had decent progressive agendas at the convention

You can argue their administration haven't lived up to that agenda. On the other hand both have spent much of their office with do nothing or do conservative ideas congresses. I think had America doubled down on the 2008 congress instead of running away from them Obama would look much more attractive right now. I seriously look at the conservatives in the house and ask myself does a majority of Americans really believe in this agenda? The real question when is the last time the vast majority of Americans have demanded a progressive agenda and not wasted votes on fake "fighters for you" under the label of Tea party, contract for America, libertarian, christian right...
