Besides how many Bibles do you think there are in Afghanistan?

Will it outrage the international community, probably not, but the Christian Taliban will raise hell!

Will it result in deaths, anything is possible...even the Christian Taliban have their share of whackos!

The Bible also talks about forgiveness...why not that instead of "an eye for an eye"?
