to hook an ipad up to a projector. And apparently it makes sure no knock-offs get out of the gate because the cheapest HK special I could find in the bowels of e-bay set me back 30 clams.
If you look hard enough, you can buy an entire Windows system in passable working order for about the same amount on ebay. That's why Apples sucks. JMHO.
