I have seized firearms from numerous people. No law would have changed the situation on any of them. Example was a 15 year old with a sawed off shotgun in his pants. He was robbing people. He got 2 years for that. He got out, turned 18 a few months later, and was promptly nailed for another armed robbery. He told me that he stole the guns.

His mother blames me for his getting locked up.
