I lurk over there to see their reactions to various and sundry news. The majority of the comments back up their fellow LE no matter how egregiously they behave, and some of the comments are hateful and cruel.
One asshole (JoetheMountie) really is a hateful toad: on the shooting of Max the Rottiweiler in Hawthorne: "Let's buy him a new dog!' Maybe a Shotweiller, or a Remington Springer Spanial"
I cried when I saw that. I just lost my dog and it hurt so bad (it still does). If I'd seen her shot in front of me while begging for her life, I'd kill myself. And he and others thought it was a big joke, mocking the owners pain.

The very few sane users on their are routinely accused of not be LEO, and "libtards".
One of them has warned that people from both the left and right (he specifically named the FreeRepublic) are growing extremely angry, and "ready to go to war" with LE.

They also defend the militarization of LE, without considering that LE and the military are two different mindsets and jobs.
