Your point really only makes sense if those on the left think that its remotely in the proper direction, but simply inadequate. That isn't actually my perspective at all. It isn't "a step" or "a pathway" to a proven, efficient, egalitarian solution like single-payer at all. Its a "uniquely American" experiment pushed through for a political win that will have unpredictable myriad consequences and still leave many with insurance they can't afford to use (due to usage fees). It just may be that some of those on the left do not see this as halfway good, but rather as a unique heap of shit in its own way.

But that isn't how you want to interpret the results. That's the funny thing about polls. Sometimes they say more about the person interpreting them than the population being sample, since their result may be somewhat ambiguous
