Well, knock me over with a feather! From listening to the Republicans and the teevee, I was under the distinct impression that the whole thing could be pieced together over the weekend, a small army of welders dispatched, and oil would flow through the pipeline by St. Patrick's Day, guaranteeing $2.50/gallon gas forever and forever, as well as creating about 12 kajillion jobs.
