party for decades.

2012 was a very clear and loud signal that the tea party message was NOT acceptable to the independents and moderates in the country, and whoever controls that demographic wins national elections.

The tea party's extremist positions are NOT acceptable to the majority in the country

It is the hassert rule that prevents a clean bill from being put before the house. Everyday that goes by without a budget will inflict more and more injury to the republican party, and unfortunately to the country in general.

If this continues to where the debt ceiling needs to be lifted on October 17, the President will most likely need to exercise the 14th amendment to prevent the crazies from creating extreme damage to the country.

If that occurs, I have no doubt that the republicans will impeach the President, but he will not be convicted, and in 2014 the republicans will lose by a landslide
