ATLANTA —

Channel 2 Action News has learned Carver High School has been placed on lockdown after pit bulls attacked students on the campus.

According to an official with Atlanta Public Safety, at least one student was injured after being bit on the school’s football field. One female student was transported to Grady Hospital after being bitten on the face.
