Are you saying Goodbye, Cruel World or do you just seek additional attention? Wasn't the reception you got in that other thread sufficient for you?

People disagree on this website. I thought your "I hate to say" post stunk up the room, myself, and I wasn't the only one. You can call that "meanness," but it wasn't--your assertions just did not come across as "credible."

Funny how your "friend" is having such trouble, when the vast majority of people are having an entirely opposite experience.

It makes me believe that either your friend isn't doing his calculations properly...or something else.

In any event, I'm sure if you look around the Great Big Internet you'll find a group of people who will welcome your views and not challenge your assertions the way the thoughtful and inquisitive members of DU did.

If this corner of the net doesn't suit you, you will probably be happier moving on.
