2. "Cognitive Dissonance." cog-nit-tivvve...disss-o-naancce...

I can see this fluttering around the heads of garden-variety Tea Party folks... like a little Disney bird. Once they discover that they have discovered this term, it will be theirs to play with like a new gun.

Just like "open minded" and "critical thinking" before them, "cognitive dissonance" will have its meaning neutered in the media so that anyone can apply it to anyone they don't agree with.

Enjoy it before it gets rendered meaningless.
