I'm am always amazed that they are blind to the hypocrisy of those
cognitive disconnects you listed.


They support the troops who are brave enough to go into combat and
risk their lives, but abandon our veterans once they return home.

They don't want government involved in health care, except in cases
regarding the uterus and ovaries.

They always advocate for "freedom", provided you're not LGBT, or a
member of a union, or an OWS protester, or ....

They hate welfare for the poor, but they love welfare for multi-billion
dollar corporations.

They hate activist judges, except for the conservative activist judges
who blatantly wipe their butts with the Constitution and rule in ways
which favor Republicans.

They hate the poor in general (and blame them for their poverty), while
all of their policies serve to keep them in poverty.


On and on and on, the list can go. An entire book on this subject
could be written, from the perspective of psychology.
