when all the news was about typhoon Phailin, I looked at the NOAA global satellite web site:

http://www.aviationweather.gov/obs/sat/intl/

And noticed that there were actually THREE big storms all in a row, Phailin furthest west, another just south of China and this one South of Japan - very dense and seriously dangerous looking - and wondered if it would be heading toward the very area it's now predicted to hit.

Geeze I wonder if our species is heading down the extinction tube with lubricant at this point. That's going to be a major concern for those of us who actually pay attention... yikes.
