26. A few months ago I defriended from facebook my ex.

We have remained good friends for almost ten years now, still love one another but for a variety of reasons could never be romantic again. But when he started posting/sharing NRA crap... some of which seemed like veiled racism to me, I stepped away and stopped communicating with him. We didn't have an argument, I just stepped away because I found the views so infuriating.

Sunday night he was in a motorcycle accident. He is laying in a coma right now with a fractured skull and brain bleed. Frankly, the political stuff, seems so silly now. I wish I had just been able to ignore that issue we disagreed on. I hope that I will still have a chance to correct that.

Social media can be a good thing.....but it can also cause arguments that never would have been had otherwise.

Just some food for thought.
